When I launched my new website I decided to run a social media competition to celebrate. Find out who won and how their photoshoot went!
"Scrolling Facebook one day (as you do) I came across a post for a photographer who appeared to be launching a new small business, I looked at the pictures and thought how lovely they were and what a nice idea to advertise solely pets and owners photo shoots. I initially just shared the post to help, also commenting saying how lovely the pictures were, then realised it was actually a competition promotion for a free sitting. I honestly had thought I was just doing my bit to help promote someone's new business. I had forgotten all about it and when I received a notification from SR Photos, I still didn't twig that it was a direct message. It was a little while later that the penny dropped. I could not believe I had won the sitting. Chuffed to say the very least." Sam.
Sam was so happy to have won my competition, and it was great to give someone that feeling! We arranged a date, location and had a chat about what Sam wanted from her photos. Sam was clear from the beginning that she didn't want to be in the photos, which is absolutely fine. Instead she wanted stunning portraits of her horse Solo. So I couldn't help but oblige.
Sam did mention that maybe her daughter Lucy would like some with solo along with her dog Evie. Lucy was a little nervous like most people but the more photos we took the more she relaxed. Evie the dog was also a little star, sitting calmly next to Solo for a sweet photo of the pair.
"It was a gorgeous day in June and Stephanie took time and detail to ensure we had lots of quality photos to cherish. The photographs were amazing, Stephanie is very talented and a lovely person to boot, very easy to get on with and very amenable to tailor making the shoot to cover what you would like. I wish SR Photos all the very best (and thank you for picking me as the winner)!
I would not hesitate to recommend SR Photos for a photoshoot. Stephanie is lovely and will custom make your shoot to capture gorgeous keepsake photos. You will not be disappointed." Sam
This is why I love doing what I do, creating images that people love and cherish. Want to have gorgeous images of you and your horse? Get in touch and tell me all about them!
