srphotos.co.uk is the trading name of photographer Steve Roberts. It was founded as the result of a hobby based on the appreciation of traditional manual SLR photography, and it still holds onto its roots. I am happy to cover weddings and portraits, as well as working to specific commissions. The aim is to keep everything affordable without compromising quality.
about my style
My particular areas of interest with photography are:
- Black and white photography
- Urban night scenes
- Water, reflections and shadows
- Repetitive patterns
- 3d photography
Composition is everything to me, and this is why you will not find any digitally-altered work on this site. A good picture may take a while to set up with composition, aperture size, shutter speed, depth of field and manual focussing within the camera but it is all worthwhile.
about the site
All of the photos on this site have been taken by me with one of my many cameras. I love using manual film cameras where possible (Canon A series) shooting in black and white, however I do also shoot in colour, and at weddings will use digital cameras (Nikon D700 and D50) where necessary to capture those fleeting moments.
